Why I Chose Kaspersky

I had many things to consider in my choice of an antivirus software solution. Price was a factor, but if it doesn't do the job, it's more expensive to pay for somebody's time to fix a virus-laden computer system. Not to mention the inconvenience and downtime for a user who really needs to get their job done and can't do it without the computer. Then I narrowed down by which companies have a corporate office in the US so I can easily contact them for technical support by phone. This kicked out a few of them and Kaspersky has been around for quite some time as a respected name in the antivirus marketplace, so I went ahead and chose them.

I want to give you all the information I had which I used quite successfully to make a good decision on my antivirus software.
